Grand Prize Drawing Raises Funds for the Animals of the Placer SPCA

Roseville, CA –  Those who love fine wine and care about animals are in luck: tickets are on sale now for Placer SPCA’s Grand Prize Drawing of a free-standing wine refrigerator, fully stocked with 50 bottles of quality, hand-selected wine.  The value of the prize is over $2,000, and the winner will be chosen at Placer SPCA’s Funny Bones event on Friday, April 27.  Ticket holders do not need to attend the event to win the prize but must be 21 years of age or older to claim the prize.

Sponsored by Folsom Lake Bank, all proceeds from the Grand Prize Drawing will benefit Placer SPCA.  Tickets for the raffle are $10 for one or $25 for three.  Tickets can be purchased at the Placer SPCA in Roseville (150 Corporation Yard Road) or Auburn (1482 Grass Valley Highway), at or by submitting a form available at www.placerspca.org/funnybones.  To purchase by phone, please call (916) 782-7722 or (530) 885-7387, ext. 106.

Funny Bones, a night of comedy and awards, will be held at the beautiful Timber Creek Ballroom at Sun City, Roseville (7050 Del Webb Blvd., Roseville) on Friday, April 27 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.  Tickets are on sale now for just $75 if purchased by March 31.  In addition to the Grand Prize Drawing, the evening includes a catered dinner, silent and live auctions, and headliner comedian Dan St. Paul.

The Placer SPCA is a local, independent nonprofit organization. Local companion animal welfare experts, the proceeds from Funny Bones will help the Placer SPCA continue its work in enhancing the lives of companion animals and people through its programs and services.
